These delicious pockets are similar to the southwestern egg rolls at Chillis restaurants only bigger and better. These are made with seasoned chicken and a creamy black bean and corn salsa. They are oven fried in a standard oven but you could use an oven fryer if you have one. We use a homemade blend of spices for the seasoning.
SEASONING INGREDIENTS
2 tablespoons chili powder (can include chipotle)
2 tablespoons paprika (can include smoked paprika)
2 tablespoons cumin
1 tablespoon onion powder
1 tablespoon garlic powder
1 tablespoon oregano
1 tablespoon kosher salt
2 teaspoons coriander
1 teaspoon black pepper
