Chicken Tacos! When we think of Mexican food, Taco is the first image that pops up. So, in this video, Chef Harsh Garg shares with us his secret recipe for the perfect Mexican chicken Tacos. Loaded with gooey cheese, fresh veggies, a hearty salsa & succulent pieces of chicken, Chicken Tacos is our foodie ticket to Mexico.

Ingredients required to make Chicken Tacos:
FOR CRISPY CHICKEN

1 chicken breast

1 tbsp olive oil

1 tsp cumin powder

1 tsp mixed herbs

1 egg, beaten

Flour

1 cup vegetable oil

2 tomatoes, diced

1 medium onion, finely chopped

4 garlic cloves, minced

2 lemons

½ cup greek yogurt

2 tbsp mayonnaise

¼ cup fresh cilantro

6 hard taco shells

1 cup lettuce, shredded

1 cup corn, boiled

1 cup cheese, grated

Salt

Pepper

Paprika

How To Make Chicken Tacos:

1) Mix the ingredients for the salsa together and place in the fridge until ready to assemble tacos.
2) Mix the ingredients together for the lime-cilantro aioli and place in the fridge until ready to assemble tacos.
3) Season the chicken with olive oil, salt, black pepper, cumin, paprika, and mixed herbs. Set aside.
4) Season the flour with salt, black pepper, cumin, and paprika. Mix well.
5) Heat up the vegetable oil in a frying pan over high heat.
6) Dip the chicken in the egg wash and then into the flour mixture to coat evenly. Place the chicken into the oil and fry until golden brown. Then flip to fry the other side until golden brown. Remove from oil and drain on paper towels.
7) Slice the chicken and start assembling the tacos. In each taco shell, smear some of the lime-cilantro aioli. Then add in a few slices of crispy chicken. Top with lettuce, corn, and a spoon of salsa. Finally, add shredded cheese.
8) Repeat with the remaining tacos and serve.
