In this video, I show you step by step how to make low-fat butter chicken! This recipe is really good for people who love butter chicken but don’t want to eat fatty foods. I also show you how to make basmati rice as a bonus recipe!
(the quantities I used in this video were for 8-10 servings)

☆ ingredients ☆
-low-fat butter chicken-
1. white onions (4-5)
2. garlic knots (2)
3. fresh tomatoes (2)
4. ginger (8-10, 1-inch pieces)
5. green chilli to taste (depends on how spicy you want it to be)
6. oil of choice (1/4 cup)
7. cumin seeds (1 tsp)
8. curry patta (4-5 leaves)
9. cloves- optional (2-3)
10. cardamom seeds- optional (2-3)
11. salt to taste (4 1/2 tsp) – I used Himalayan pink salt
12. turmeric powder (1 1/2 tsp)
13. paprika powder (1 tsp)
14. mixed spice powder (1 tsp)
15. chicken curry masala (1 1/2 tsp)
16. karahi chicken masala (1/2 tsp)
17. tomato puree (400mL)
18. water (according to your need)
19. chicken (1.8 kg)
20. half and half cream (250mL)
-rice-
1. basmati rice (2 1/2 cups)
2. water (5 1/4 cups)
(serve hot with cilantro as garnish)
