Ingredients:
12 pack of string cheese
2 eggs
1 cup all purpose flour
¼ tsp garlic powder
¼ tsp paprika powder
¼ tsp black pepper powder
1/8 tsp salt
2 cups panko breadcrumbs/Italian breadcrumbs (Note: Don’t season the flour with anything If Italian breadcrumbs are using.)
Oil for frying
Process:
Beat eggs in a bowl. In another bowl combine garlic powder, paprika, black pepper powder, salt and flour together. Take panko brad crumbs in the 3rd bowl. Unwrap the string cheese. Dip each string cheese into the flour mixture, then eggs, and then into breadcrumbs to coat. Again, dip into the eggs and then breadcrumbs and place on a dish. Freese for 30 minutes before frying. Heat enough oil in a pan over a medium heat. Check the oil temperature with a wooden stick to see if oil is ready (when bubbles create around the stick) for frying. Deep fry mozzarella sticks for 2 minutes or until golden brown. Fry in batches. Remove and drain on a wire rack. Serve hot with mayoracha sauce or any sauce of your choice.
