Simple Cassava Pizza Recipe ♥️
Hey there sweet Soul!
Are you desiring to make a simple pizza recipe that is free from gluten and totally plant based yet still super decadent and delicious?

Well, you may have arrived at the perfect recipe. Easy simple cassava crust and cashew cheese pizza will have you super satisfied and your friends impressed! You can top this recipe off with any of your desired toppings, I was drooling for baked eggplant so that’s what I chose today.

Some things to note: when rolling out the cassava crust, use a non stick paper underneath to easily get it into your cast iron pan(you must use a cast iron for this recipe) if you do not have a cast iron then you may have to put some oil when cooking it. I highly recommend investing in one they are awesome 🤩😍

I also normally would make my own red sauce from scratch, yet we just happened to have this premade red sauce made so I decided to use it 😍 you listen to your heart and see what feels best for you to do for the red sauce part.

So here you go, the mmmm so yummy recipe:

Cassava Cashew Cheese Eggplant Pizza Recipe ☀️

To make Pizza crust, into a bowl add:
1.5 cups Cassava flour
1.5 cup Water
Pinch salt
Optional spices of your choice(I added garlic powder and smoked paprika)

Use your clean hands or a spoon to mix these ingredients together to form a nice dough. The dough should be easy to work and not stick to your hands.

Make 4 balls out of your dough and roll into thinner pizza crusts, use the non stick paper underneath.

Cook on high to medium heat on cast iron pan for few minutes on each side, flip only once it’s gotten a different color and texture(should be like 2 to 3 minutes). It should still be soft when done, not crispy or hard.

For the red sauce I used a premade red sauce, you can also make your own sauce using 2 cans of tomato sauce, add garlic, onion, basil, and whatever else you may enjoy. I recommend looking up a red sauce recipe, they are simple. Stay tuned for a red sauce recipe of mine coming soon 😉

Cashew cheese recipe:

Soak 1.5 cups raw cashews in clean pure water for minimum 4 hours(overnight is best) if you don’t have the time non soaked cashews work too it’s just preferred to use soaked as they get softer and easier to digest the fat.

To the blender add:
1.5 cups soaked cashews

1/8 cup apple cider vinegar

1/2 tsp turmeric powder

1/2 tsp sea salt

1/8 cup nutritional yeast

1/5 cup water

Blend this mixture till super smooth.
Then it’s done, your creamy cheese is done 🥰😉

Baked eggplant topping:

Cut 1 eggplant into thinner small pieces, massage with little oil, bake in oven for 20 minutes on 400 Fahrenheit.

Once crust, sauce, cheese and toppings are ready assemble the pizza! Add sauce, then cheese, then toppings.

Then bake pizzas in oven on 350 Fahrenheit for 25 to 30 minutes.

You may have to do two at a time to fit it.

After baking is done let pizzas cool for 10 minutes then cut serve and enjoy ♥️
