My #toddler is loving this authentic Bangladeshi bhuna #chicken #curry. It is mild yet full of flavour. This recipe is perfect for #meal #prepping as it stores well in the #freezer.
Bhuna chicken means it is a dry curry so it has thick sauce, but if you prefer your sauce thinner you can simply add more water.
Ingredients
2 to 3kg chicken (I prefer to use chicken drumsticks)
3 tablespoon oil
8 small onions (or 4 large onions)
1 tsp fresh garlic paste
1 tsp fresh ginger paste
1 tsp salt (or to taste)
1 tsp cumin powder
1 tsp coriander powder
1 tsp paprika powder
1/2 tsp turmeric powder
1/4 tsp chilli powder
4 to 5 cardamon pods
1 to 2 inches cassia bark
2 cups boiling water (or more if you want a runnier sauce)
