Cooper’s Specialty Kitchen – Located in Ao Nang, Krabi, Thailand, Cooper’s Specialty Kitchen is an amazing example of how plant based food can be extremely healthy and vibrantly flavorful at the same time. I had the honor to hang out with Cooper who showed me around the garden (although at the time of visiting, the garden was under construction and renovation), and then Cooper cooked vegan Hungarian food for lunch. #Krabi #Thailand #vegan
NOTE: At the time of filming this video, Cooper’s Specialty Kitchen was not open due to Covid 19, and they had taken the opportunity to renovate at this time.
Cooper is an amazing guy, with so much passion and so much enthusiasm behind what he does. I like the fact that he aims to prove that plant based vegan food can be exciting and full of flavor while being highly nutritious. And that’s the philosophy behind everything he does.
First, we quickly took a walk around the permaculture farm – an example of how you can grow a garden that looks good, while growing vegetables, herbs, and fruit to eat. It was under construction at the time of filming, but normally, the garden is more lush and filled with more vegetables.
Today, Cooper made a special dish of Gomba Porkolt, Hungarian mushroom stew with paprika from Hungary – Cooper being from Budapest originally. It was delicious, so flavorful, and went perfectly with barley, sauerkraut, and chilies marinated in pumpkin seed oil. An amazing meal.
