Pan Sear Salmon With Honey Garlic Sauce – Melissa’s Home Cooking

This is an easy delicious recipe for cooking Salmon! Taste so good and it is a low carbohydrate meal or Keto friendly!

Ingredients:
For Salmon
2 x 200 g Salmon fillets – pat dry
½ tsp salt
½ tsp pepper
1 tsp paprika powder
For Honey Garlic Sauce
2 tbsp butter
2 cloves garlic – minced
2 tbsp honey
1 tbsp water
2 tsp light soy sauce
1 tbsp fresh squeezed lemon juice, (plus extra to serve)
For Garnishing
Lemon wedges to serve
Instructions:
For Honey Garlic Sauce
1.Heat a small pot on medium heat. Then add butter.
2. Once butter melted, add garlic, stir until garlic soft.
3.Then add honey, water, soya sauce and lemon juice.
4. Let it boil and switch off heat and keep warm
For Cooking Salmon
1.Season salmon with salt, pepper and paprika powder.
2.Melt oil in pan on medium heat.
3. Make sure the pan is HOT when you add the salmon to it. Add salmon to pan, continue to cook on medium heat. The hot pan and oil creates the crispy sear. Do not move the salmon for 2-3 minutes, this also helps to create a nice sear. Once the salmon is seared/golden brown on one side (about 4-5 minutes), flip it over.
4.Cook on other side until light golden brown.
To Serve
Arrange cooked salmon on the plate and drizzle honey garlic sauce on top and serve with your favourite salad and garnish with lemon wedges on the side with extra honey garlic sauce.
