Who doesn’t love some crispy strips !?
– First I mixed baking soda, salt, smoked paprika on the chicken and I let it sit for a few hours.
– Next I added buttermilk, some chili, garlic powder and some more smoked paprika. Best is to let it sit till next day for a juicy chicken.
For the flour I used Garlic Powder, Paprika, Smoked Paprika, White and black pepper, curry powder, salt, oregano and basil.
Simple take your chicken from the buttermilk and coat it in flour. Deep fry it until golden brown.
I made a dip sauce I really love with this chicken.
– Crush some garlic to witch you add salt and a little oil. Mix it hard with a whisk until it changes texture. It should be towards mayonnaise.
(I think is called emulsifying?) Now add yogurt 3% fat and garlic mayo same amount. Curry powder (like a full tsp) and a little smoked paprika.
Now add some pickle juice and salt. Play with the amount of pickle juice depending on how runny you want the dip to be. I personally like it a little more runny.
I really think that curry garlic sauce taste AMAZING with this chicken crispy strips.
