SOMETHING LIKE A GOULASH -American Vegetarian Optional Goulash

This is similar to a dish I ate as a child we called goulash. My mom would make it with a giant can of Campbell’s Chicken or beef gumbo soup and add hamburger, onions tomatoes, macaroni, and spices. Some people also call it American Goulash. It is in no way traditional goulash, but it is very tasty and simple and low cost. I would not be embarrassed to serve it to anyone. If you substitute the teaspoon of chicken bouillon in this recipe with a vegetarian flavoring it would be an entirely vegetarian dish.
I am on a temporarily restricted diet and can’t have eggs, dairy, or lots of fat or spicy foods or I would have increased the ingredients to add more flavor. Imagine how this would taste with some melted cheese and extra onions?
The Italian flavored soy sausage or Tofurkey had a decent flavor, and the texture was better than expected.
