This is a fantastic Vegan Refried Black Recipe…..
3 cans Black Beans (or any bean you like) (rinse & drain)
Or make your own Black Beans from dry
1 onion diced up (I put it in the food processor)
Saute the onion for about 8 mins or keep raw (whichever you like)
2 Tablespoons Red Wine Vinegar
1 Teaspoon Italian Seasoning
2 Teaspoons Mushroom Powder
1 Teaspoon Smoked Paprika
Hot Sauce to taste
Liquid Smoke to taste
Put the black beans and everything but the onions in the food processor and process until creamy. (if you want the onion raw, just put everything in the processor & do not cook)…..Add water a tablespoon at a time, if you need it creamier.
Take out and add to onions in the pan & cook about 5 minutes. Add a couple of tablespoons of water if it seems too dry.
Store in the fridge and use on tortilla wraps, wasa, rice cakes, etc…..
