This is how I make one of my favorite comfort foods: chicken tenders and fries! Enjoy!
Ingredients:
Vegetable Oil (4 Cups or 1 liter)
3 Russet Potatoes
Chicken Tenders (2lbs or 1kg)
Buttermilk (2 Cups or 480ml)
All Purpose Flour (2 Cups or 250g)
Cornstarch (½ Cup or 75g)
Garlic Powder (1 Tbsp or 18g)
Onion Powder (1 Tbsp or 18g)
Paprika (2 Tbsp or 36g)
Cayenne (1 Tbsp or 18g)
Ground Mustard (1 Tsp or 5g)
Salt (1 Tbsp or 18g)
Pepper (1 Tbsp or 18g)
FRY/BURGER/SPECIAL SAUCE:
Mayo (½ Cup or 110g)
Yellow Mustard (1 Tsp or 7g)
Ketchup (½ Cup or 120g)
Spicy Pickle Juice // Finely Chopped Pickles Optional (2 Tbsp or 30g)
Garlic Powder (¼ Tsp or 1.5g)
Onion Powder (¼ Tsp or 1.5g)
Paprika (½ Tsp or 3g)
Notes
Please be incredibly careful with frying oil, it is very dangerous if mishandled. Do not extinguish oil fires with water, use a pot lid instead. Chicken needs to be cooked to 165 degrees Fahrenheit. Good Luck!
