And here is the recipe:
Oven Fried Chicken (Piece of my Heart) style
1 lb of chicken breasts cut into strips
1 tbsp of butter
1/4 cup of gluten free flour
1 cup of panko breadcrumbs
1 tsp of salt
1 tsp of garlic powder
1 tsp of pepper
1 tsp of paprika
2 tsp of parsley
Bowl of milk
Directions: Preheat the oven to 400 degrees, add 1 tbsp of butter to a 9 x 13 pan and place in a preheated oven. Spread the heated butter around the pan so the complete bottom is covered. Place the chicken strips in a bowl of milk. Add flour, panko, salt, pepper, garlic powder, paprika and parsley to a ziploc bag. Shake the milk off the chicken strips that were soaking and add to the ziploc bag mixture and shake. Place the coated chicken strips from the bag on sheet pan and bake in the oven for 10 minutes. Flip the chicken over after the ten minutes and bake another 10 – 12 minutes.
Serve and enjoy!
