There was a time in America, when families had so much less than what is available today. This was especially true during the Great Depression. The Dishes, Meals and Recipes from that time would remain staple dishes for the majority of American lower to middle income families throughout the the 40’s, 50’s into the 60’s and 70’s . American Goulash was one of these, considered an extender meal. That did not mean it could not be filling, and down right tasty too. This is my families recipe, one that changes with the season and what we had, but always filled with Hope and Love.
I do hope you enjoy the video, Take care and may God Bless You All.
