Lentil Soup
Ingredients:
1 pound lentils
1/4 cup oil
1 medium onion
1 tsp paprika
2 grated tomatoes or 1.5 cup stewed tomatoes
1 tsp black pepper
1.5 tsp salt
1/4 cup dry parsley
1 large carrot
1 bell pepper
1/2 tsp oregano
8 garlic cloves
Preparation:
Get a large pot and place on stove. Chop onion and put in pot. Grate the carrot into the pot. Cut the bell pepper finely and put into pot. Cut garlic cloves finely and put in the pot. Add all other ingredients in the pot and fill up the pot with water up to 2/3 of its volume. Bring soup to boil and cook for about 1-2 hours until soup I thickens a little bit.
