Chicken Korma – #Easy #Quick #Recipe

#Ingredients:
Chicken 1 kg
Onion 2 sliced
1 cup oil
Ginger garlic paste 2 tbsp
Cream 1/2 cup
Yogurt 1 cup
kewra water 1 tbsp
Dry Spices
Green cardamom 6-8
Black cardamom 2
Cinnamon sticks 2 small
Bay leaves 2
Cloves 3-4
Star Anise 1
Black pepper corns 10
Nutmeg ( jaifal) 1/2 tsp
Mace powder (javatri) 1/3 tsp
Salt
Red chili 1 tsp
Paprika powder 1 tsp
Yellow food colour 1/2 tsp
Water 1 cup
Zeera powder 1 tbsp
Coriander powder 2 tbsp

#Directions:
* In pot, add oil and onion and fry until light golden and set aside.
* In the same pot ,add green cardamom ,black cardamom, cinnamon sticks , cloves, star anise, bay leaves, black pepper corns , and cumin seeds and fry for 1 minute .
*Add ginger garlic paste and mix well.
* Add chicken and fry until chicken changes color, cover and cook for a few minutes.
Add salt, Red chili powder, paprika powder ,yellow color, coriander powder and zeera powder and mix well.
* Slow flame, add yogurt and mix well for 2 minutes.
Add fried and crushed onions and mix well.
* Add 1 cup of water mix well and bring it to boil cover and cook for 3 minutes.
Now add cream turn the flame low and mix well.
* Add nutmeg powder, mace powder, kewra water and garam masala and mix well.
* Garnish with ginger.
Tips: For crispy onions evenly spread on paper towel to remove excess oil and let it completely cooled.
