Legacy BBQ How to Cook St Louis Spare Ribs

Welcome to Legacy Barbecue and Today we will be doing Smoked St Louis Style Ribs with a Cherry BBQ Sauce. Like and Subscribe that button and dig in!

Rub:
1/2 C Brown Sugar
1/4 C Smoked Paprika
1/4 C Hungarian Paprika
1 TBS Black Pepper
1 TBS Salt
1 TBS Chili Powder
1 TBS Garlic Powder
1 TBS Onion Powder
1 TEA Cayenne
1 TEA Mace

Sauce:
1/2 Onion
1/2 Garlic Clove
1 1/2 C Cherries (pitted)
1/4 C Cherry Soda
1 TBS Dijon Mustard
1 TBS Tomato Paste
2 TEA White Wine Vinegar
1 TEA Chili Powder
1 TEA Cumin
Cook Onion and Garlic in Oil. Add Cherries. When complete, Blend all ingredients together until smooth and saucy!

Steps:
•Tear off Membrane from back of ribs
•Trim Ribs to your Liking
•Rub back of ribs 1st the meat side
•Let sit for 15-25mins until rub has turned into liquid
•Bunch rubs together and place on smoker @275
•Spray w butter every 45 mins
•After 2nd Spray start checking for bone pull
•Wrap when ribs have a nice color and start to give away from the bone
•After about 1 – 1 1/2hrs start to check Internal temp by unwrapping while on the grill
•When Internal hits 200 take ribs off and let sit for about 45mins in wrap
•Take ribs out of wrap and sauce
•Back on the grill for about 10mins to set sauce (If using a pellet grill, this is a GREAT time to turn down to 165 and get some good smoke flavor on top!)
