Dynamite shrimp is a juicy creamy Shrimp recipe made with spice coated flour fried shrimps, covered in a spicy mayo sauce is next to perfect recipe to serve as an appetizer or the main course. When you go to a Japanese restaurant, these yummy shrimps are usually as a side dish or an appetizer. It’s remarkably easy to make right at home.
Ingredients:
For Marination:
250 Grams Shrimps (20 Pieces )
¼ Tsp Black Pepper (Crushed )
¼ Tsp Garlic Powder
¼ Tsp Paprika Powder
1 Tbsp Soy Sauce
1 Small Size Egg
Salt
For the Coating:
1/2 Cup All-purpose Flour (Maida)
¼ Cup Corn Starch
Club Soda
½ Tsp Salt
½ Tsp Mixed Herbs(Oregano + Basil)
Oil For Frying
For the Sauce
1/2 Cup Mayonnaise
2 Tbsp Sriracha Sauce
2 Tbsp Sweet Chili Sauce
1 Tbsp Honey
Preparation:
1. In a bowl, take 20 medium-sized shrimps. You should clean and deveined them before cooking.Add ¼ tsp. Crushed black pepper, ¼ tsp. Garlic powder, ¼ tsp. Paprika powder, 1 tbsp. Soy sauce, Salt and 1 small size egg. Marinate well with the shrimps and keep aside.
2. In another bowl add 1/2 cup of all-purpose flour,1/4 cup corn starch, mixed herbs and salt. Make a thick batter by adding club soda.
3. Make the batter ready for crunchy coating on shrimps. Take each shrimp at a time and give a nice coating with the batter.
4. On medium heat, heat the oil for deep frying.
Fry the shrimp for 3-4 minutes until crispy and golden brown. Shrimps will become chewy if overcooked so, don’t overcook.
5. Take a medium-size bowl, add 1/2 cup of mayonnaise and 2 tbsp Sriracha Sauce and 2 tbsp Chili sauce and 1 tbsp Honey and mix them well. Place it aside.Coat the crispy shrimps with the spicy mayonnaise mixture.
