Cabbage Rolls Recipe – Makes at least 12-16 rolls – Pressure Cooking Method
Cooking Medium:
1-2 Heads solid cabbage, should provide 12-16 leaves of cabbage, extra cabbage sliced and used in cooking
Cabbage Rolls Meat Stuffing:
1 – Pound Ground beef – 85% fat minimum
1 – Pound Italian sausage no casing flat
1 – Egg
1 1/2 cups cooked white or brown rice
1 Tablespoon each of:
Spike or no-salt seasoning. Celery Salt Ground black or white pepper
Smoked or mild Paprika Parsley Garlic Powder
Onion Powder Sugar
1 – Teaspoon Thyme
Cabbage Roll Sauce:
2 – Cans V8 Vegetable juice room temp. 2 cans stewed tomatoes sliced
Cabbage Rolls Loading into pressure cooker
1 – Jar Clausen sauerkraut 3 Bay leaves. Leftover cabbage chopped
Leftover meat stuffing
1 loaf of Rye or Pumpernickel bread – sliced and buttered for serving

Follow video Directions on making:
The Sauce, cooking the cabbage for use, assembly and cooking the cabbage rolls.
Steps:
Pre-cook cabbage to get leaves fo stuffing
Assemble meat stuffing ingredients and mix well
Stuff cabbage leaves with meat mixture
Assemble rolls and layer with sauce, left over cabbage, 1 bay leaf and sauerkraut per layer
Cook per pressure cooking guide for total amount of meat used to ensure cooking meat thoroughly
Stove top method or crock pot/slow cooker can be used, add 1 can additional V8 to sauce if using one of these methods.
