Tuna, like all fish, contains a lot of protein, vitamins A, B2 and D, and minerals such as iodine and iron. The meat is leaner than that of, for example, mackerel and herring, but it still contains a lot of healthy omega-3 fatty acids. Canned tuna is just as healthy as fresh tuna.
