If your spice cabinet is without smoked paprika, I have a revelation for you my friend. It combines the sweetness of regular paprika with some smoked complexity and adds so much depth to literally any dish you can imagine adding it to! This chicken is fall off the bone tender, smothered in a sauce so good you’ll be licking your plate clean as soon as it’s done – I promise!
♨ INGREDIENTS with Timestamp ♨
0:26 ½ cup olive oil
We want an oil with a neutral flavor that will ensure our spice blend sticks to our chicken and crisps up the outside nicely.
0:28 8 cloves garlic minced
You can use as much or as little as you want.
0:33 ½ teaspoon red pepper flakes
0:36 2 tablespoon smoked paprika
For extra heat, use smoked paprika and red pepper flakes. If you’re not a fan of spicy foods, leave out the red pepper.
0:37 2 tablespoon oregano fresh, chopped
This Garlic Paprika Chicken requires fresh parsley and oregano. If you only have dried, keep in mind that dried
0:39 ¼ cup parsley fresh, chopped
0:54 12 chicken drumsticks
I used drumsticks today, but you can use any type of chicken you want! This sauce is delicious regardless of the cut.
0:58 ½ teaspoon salt or to taste
1:00 ½ teaspoon black pepper or to taste
Season with salt and pepper to taste.

☞ Preheat oven to 425 F degrees.
☞ Olive oil should be heated in a small skillet. Garlic, smoked paprika, red pepper flakes, and herbs should be added. On medium heat, cook the garlic for about a minute, being careful not to burn it.
☞ The drumsticks should be cleaned, dried, and salted and peppered.
☞ Make sure the drumsticks are completely covered with the olive oil/paprika mixture before pouring it over them.
☞ Cook the chicken legs through for about 45 minutes by placing them in a 9 x 13 baking dish and baking.
☞ Serve with your preferred salad and/or side dish.

♦ If smoked paprika is unavailable, regular paprika will suffice.
This spice blend is suitable for any type of chicken. The cook time for breasts and leg quarters will be the same.
This chicken dish will keep in the fridge for 3 – 4 days if stored in an airtight container that has been properly cooled. When you’re ready to eat, simply reheat in the microwave or oven.
Place the drumsticks on a baking sheet and freeze until completely frozen. After that, place the drumsticks in a freezer bag or an airtight container and store for 4 – 6 months. When ready to eat, remove from the freezer and place in the refrigerator to thaw overnight. Simply reheat in the oven at 350°F until warmed through and serve!
