This year, give your Thanksgiving turkey a smoky upgrade with gourmet spices from McCormick®.
A regular roasted turkey is a wonderful holiday tradition, but by making this dry rub for your turkey you can create an even more memorable meal.
It’s an irresistible mix of spices—with the bold smokiness of paprika shining above the rest—that will have you coming back for seconds, and might seriously limit the leftovers available.

Turkey Rub Ingredients:
Ground black pepper
Once you’ve made the turkey rub, sprinkle some inside the turkey and spread it across the outside and under the skin so the flavor really sinks in. Add celery, onion, orange and bay leaves to the inside too. Then add chicken stock to your roasting pan and place it in the oven.
Turkey Roasting Instructions:
Cover loosely with foil and roast for 1 hour
Remove foil. Roast 2–2½ hours longer or until internal temp reaches 165°F.
Baste occasionally with pan juices.
Remove from oven and let stand 20 minutes.
Transfer to platter or carving board and slice.
Serve your roasted smoked paprika turkey with these traditional thanks giving sides. And make sure to use McCormick and McCormick Gourmet spices.
