What’s up beautiful people, welcome back to another vlogmas video. Today I wanted to take you along as I prepped Christmas dinner for Terron and myself. If you want any of these recipes, please check down below πŸ™‚

Recipes:

Pecan pie:
1 pre made pie crust
1c brown sugar
3 eggs
1c light corn syrup
1tbs vanilla extract
2-3tbs melted butter
1tsp salt
1.5c pecans

Oven on 350, Bake pie crust for 5 mins. Then add filling and bake again for 60mins. Let cool for 2 hours before eating

Mac n cheese:
2tbs butter
2tbs of flour
2 cans of evaporated milk (12oz cans)
10oz velveeta cheese
8oz of sharp cheddar (half in sauce, half on top)
4oz of Monterey Jack (topping)
4oz of Gouda (topping)
1 box of elbow pasta

Preheat oven to 375

Boil pasta, don’t over cook.

Whisk flour and butter to make the roux. Whisk for about 2 mins, do not let it burn. Add half a can of the evaporated milk and whisk. Once smooth, add the rest of the milk. Add velveeta cheese cut in cubes and whisk until melted. Add in half of the sharp cheddar. Once melted add salt and paprika to taste

Add sauce to pasta. Top with the rest of the grated cheese. Bake at 375 with foil for 10 minutes. Remove foil and cook for another 20-30minutes

Roasted potatoes:
Rustic or Yukon Potatoes
Oil, salt, pepper, garlic powder, paprika, fresh parsley, chicken bouillon
Corn starch

Peel and cut potatoes to 1 inch cubes. Boil in
Water with chicken bouillon for 15-20 minutes. Don’t over boil or it will turn into mashed potatoes.

Remove and lay out flat for them to dry. Roughly 20 minutes. Then cover with corn starch and seasonings. Heat oil in a pan, add potatoes and bake for 30 minutes flipping every 10. Remove and add to an air fryer for 10-15 minutes to crisp up.

Add sea salt and fresh parsley.

Candied yams:
Canned yams
1/4c Sugar
1/4c Brown sugar
1tbs Vanilla
1tsp Salt
1/2c Butter
1tbs Cinnamon

Oven at 350

Remove water from yams. Add in all of the ingredients listed above. Cover with foil and bake for 40 minutes

Ham:
Following the cooking instructions for the ham you purchase.

Glaze-
1c brown sugar
1/2c butter
1/4c honey
1/4c Dijon mustard
1tsp ground cloves
1tsp salt

Dry rub-
2tbs brown sugar
1tsp paprika
1tsp garlic powder
1tsp salt
1tsp cinnamon
1tsp ground cloves

Cook up glaze, add to the top of your fully cooked ham. Then top with dry rub and cook uncovered for an additional 10-15mins

Asparagus:
Asparagus
2-3tbs butter
Fresh or pre chopped garlic
Salt, pepper, garlic powder, paprika
Parmesan or Gouda

Melt and Cook butter and garlic. Add asparagus and seasonings. After cooking for a minute or two, pour in a few Tbs of water and cover to steam. Keep and eye out so the garlic doesn’t burn.

Top with shredded Parmesan or Gouda
