Moist and tender chicken drumsticks roasted in a delicious garlic and paprika marinade. Pairs perfectly with potatoes and a vegetable. For dessert, why not bake one of my delicious cakes or cupcakes?
INGREDIENTS NEEDED
16 drumsticks
1/2 Cup Olive oil
4 teaspoons minced garlic
2 Tablespoons paprika
2 teaspoons salt
1 tsp pepper
2 pinches of red pepper flakes
3 teaspoons dry oregano
4 Tablespoons chopped parsley
INSTRUCTIONS
Set oven to 425 degrees
Clean and dry the chicken drumsticks with paper towels. Generously season with salt and pepper
Put all above ingredients in your bowl and whisk together well.
Coat chicken thoroughly in marinade mixture.
Place chicken in an alternating pattern in a shallow roasting pan.
Pour remainder of marinade mixture over chicken.
Bake chicken for 45 minutes or until you reach an internal temperature of 165 degrees in the thickest part of the chicken. No need to turn chicken during cooking process.
Please do yourself a favor and use a digital thermometer to insure safe internal temperatures
Serve with potatoes and a vegetable, or perhaps stuffing and a salad.
SUGGESTION
Why not make some of my delicious and moist chocolate cupcakes for dessert? I have a delightful recipe for Gluten free chocolate cupcakes, but can be made with regular all purpose flour instead of the gluten free flour. Simply replace gluten free flour with regular all purpose flour. The rest of the recipe would still be the same. The link is found as a suggestion in this video.
