Estimated prep time: 5-10 minutes
Estimated cooking time: 15-20 minutes
Estimated serving size: ~ 2 servings
Here’s what you’ll need to cook along with me:
INGREDIENTS:
– 1 lb shrimp
– 1 lb angel hair pasta + water for cooking
– 1 tbs coconut oil OR olive oil OR cooking oil of choice
– 3 tbs garlic
– 1 small red pepper
– 2 tbs paprika
– 2-3 tbs fresh parsley
– 1/2 cup mayonnaise
– 1/4 cup sweet chili ginger sauce (see link for recommendations)
– 4 tbs lime
– 1 tsp red pepper flakes
– salt & pepper
ALTERNATIVES:
– If you don’t like shrimp, thin sliced chicken or beef will also work well in this recipe.
– Olive oil, vegetable oil, canola oil or even ghee can be substituted for coconut oil
– Sweet Chili Ginger sauces can be found in most grocery stores in the Asian food section. I’ve seen several varieties from different brands. The exact sauce I will be using is The Ginger People Sweet Thai Chili Ginger Sauce (literally it’s the best ever, and this isn’t even sponsored, I just love this sauce so much!)
SWEET THAI GINGER SAUCE (it’s much cheaper in store):
