Today at Preeal’s World we try the classic Hummus recipe with Paprika and a dash of peri-peri.
The recipe and ingredients were assembled by Preetika.
250gm Cooked chickpeas without skin
1/4 tsp chopped garlic
2-4 tbsp olive oil
1-2 tbsp sesame oil
3 tbsp tahini
1.5 – 2 tsp lemon juice
1 tsp salt
1/4th tsp black pepper finely ground
1 tsp paprika
1/4th tsp peri peri powder
Add all to a blender and blend to a smooth paste. Use more oil if required to match the consistency of your liking. Serve with Thyme and fresh olive oil.
In this recipe, we used Cucumber and carrots in place of lavash or pita bread to make it keto friendly.
