2 acorn or sweet dumpling squash
1/4 cup maple syrup
1/2 teaspoon each ground turmeric & smoked paprika
Unrefined salt
Avocado oil
Preheat oven to 400F. Quarter the squash, remove the seeds, place on sheet tray cut side up, and drizzle with avocado oil and pinch of some salt. Combine the syrup, paprika, and turmeric in a small both a mix. Drizzle the syrup all over the squash and pour excess in the cavity. Bake for 1 hour and or until a knife can easily piece the flesh of the squash. If you want more color, rasie the heat to 500F the last 10 minutes of cooking.
